Dr. Katherine Lauterbach was raised in Evanston. She graduated from Oberlin College in 1977. In 1981, she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she earned an Award of Merit for Outstanding Clinical Achievments in a comprehensive patient care program. Upon graduation, she worked as an associate for another dentist and in May of 1983, she opened her own practice. In August of 1988, Dr. Susan Torma joined her. She currently resides in Evanston with her husband and 2 children.
Dr. Susan Torma grew up outside of Boston. She received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in 1982 and then spent 2 years as a research assistant at Rockefeller University in NYC. She graduated 3rd in her class from Northwestern Dental School in 1988, where she recieved the American Association of Women Dentist’s award for Leadership and Academic Excellence and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honarary Dental Society. She currently resides in Evanston with her husband and 3 children.
Dr. Torma and Dr. Lauterbach are active members in American Association of Women Dentists, Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Illinois State Dental Society.
